Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez (born September 9th, 1965)[1] is an American actress. Most well-known are her roles in George Lopez (2002 - 2007) and Marcela Quitanilla (mother Selena) in Selena (1997). She played Regina Vasquez in the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-2017). She currently plays Camila Diaz, the star of the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (1999). Marie started her acting career during her teens. She landed a spot in the 1988 film Salsa. Other credits on film and television include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was picked to play Angie Lopez on the ABC comedy series George Lopez. Marie played a prominent role in the comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. She was also a part of the PBS drama American Family. Her own line of clothing, "The Constance Marie collection" was launched in October 2007. 2 In the same year, she appeared in an ad campaign by PETA, encouraging people to spay and neuter their pets. 3. Marie was the legally-authorized and birth mother of one of her daughters Regina Vasquez. She appeared on the ABC Family/Freeform show Switched at Birth from 2011 to 2017.
