Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on 24 April 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. She is an American musician, singer and TV star. As of 2002, she took home her first American Idol talent competition. Clarkson grew up within Burleson, Texas, a suburb within Fort Worth, where her singing talent was initially recognized by her teacher in the choir at her school as a seventh grader. Clarkson was able to leave high school and go into Los Angeles where she failed to succeed in the world of entertainment. Following her return in Texas in 2002, Clarkson was a contestant for the American Idol, a show broadcast by the Fox Broadcasting Co. American Idol. This singing competition gave viewers the chance to choose their top performer. Clarkson received a lot of praise from viewers for her stunning voice and wit. The prize she received as the winner was $1 million plus a recording contract with RCA.
