Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Best known for anchoring the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is an American journalist on the broadcast. Her previous roles included cohost of the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's coverage of both the presidential and 2012 elections. Bolduan also worked as an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional events, such as the talks to raise the ceiling on federal debt and super committee discussions. She has also served as a general assignment correspondent covering stories such as an attack on the federal government's Christmas Day bombing attempt the landmark Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of Obamacare's government s stimulus plan in 2009. Then she became a CNN Newsource national reporter in the year 2007. As a CNN Newsource correspondent, she covered breaking news stories as well as produced feature stories to over 800 CNN Newsource members. Prior to that, she was with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV.
