Sharron Lynne Williams (age 39) died March 15, 2022. Born on November 11, 1982 to Floyd Williams and Abigail Evans Williams (deceased) she was proud to be a native from Miami. When she graduated from New World School of the Arts in Miami, she studied all kinds of dance. She was offered a number of scholarships during her tenure there at New World to attend Alvin Ailey's summer intensive. After that, she was a member of in the Ailey II 2nd Company. She then went on to Florida State University and received a Bachelor's degree with a major in Applied Economics and another Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Social Science. Recognizing that her abilities, talents and artistic inclination include dancing and other arts, she decided to study acting with the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater under James Brill. She's worked on film and television on projects like HBO's Lovecraft Country, Vinyl, The Get Down, the Netflix original show The Get Down, and Scary Movie 5. Also, she played in the character of Cinderella at Lincoln Center In the Little Orchestra society's production of Cinderella. Previous performances included touring in Disney's The Lion King in the US and Canada as well as the Broadway Company.
