Annie Murphy

Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on 19th December 1986. The native of Canada and works for the Hollywood film industry where she performed on numerous projects. She is most well-known as Alexis Rose on the CBC show Schitt's creek that began in the year 2015. The show was cancelled in 2020. Her performance was praised by critics and she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ontario, a province in Canada. Her birthplace is in Ottawa, Canada. She enrolled at Elmwood School in Ottawa where it was a stage show. Then she enrolled in Concordia University from where she studied for a degree in stage performance. Then, she started taking acting classes at Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. After turning 22, she relocated to Los Angeles where acting became her main occupation. Annie Murphy made her acting debut in 2007 with a crime-thriller TV film called Lethal Obsession. The actress continued to act and did small, extra roles in several films. The most popular ones are Story of Jen released in 2008. Lick, which came out in 2010. Another big success was A Windigo Tale. In addition, she appeared on Canadian television shows like Good God, which aired the year 2012, as well as Rookie Blue in the same. Her ability to do multiple projects is impressive. Annie tried to establish herself early on in her career as an actor. Her memorable performances have made her famous in the film and entertainment industries.
