Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur IL on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnn Kymes and her were two of the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is an American country and bluegrass singer. She started working in the business of music in the early years of her life. at the age of 10 years old, she took part in local contests and recorded her debut album. The year 1987 was when she released her first solo album, after being signed to Rounder Records. She was also invited to the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. Later, in 1989 her debut solo album was released in conjunction with the band.
