Her songs were local hits shortly after and she followed it up with singles!Franchesckaar! and Emelline/Art Bitch. Asylum Records signed her in the year 2010. Alex Metric sang the vocals for the song End of the World released in 2011. Her first studio album True Romance was released in April 2013. The album received a positive reception by the critics. The album sold 1,241 units during its initial week. It also it climbed to the 85th spot on the U.K. albums chart. Charli immediately started work to record her next album. In no time she was named in Fancy by Australian artist Iggy Azalea. It reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. The singer released her debut album in the middle of December. The album became an international hit. It ranked at number 28 on the Billboard 200. The album received positive reviews by critics. Break the Rules is an enormous hit that charted in several countries. The singer announced in July 2015 that she was working on her third album.
